Tavia Yeung dares not go to toilet while wearing expensive jewelry on anniversary awards night

Yesterday, Tavia Yeung went to jewelry shop to choose for jewelries as for preparation for anniversary awards. She tried on 3 sets of diamond jewelries worth 15 millions. Amongst the 3 set of jewelries, she likes the ruby set the most. Tavia Yeung expressed that she is a careless person so she dares not take off the jewelries and wash her hands during awards presentation night. She said, “I have previous record. There was one time whereby I took off my ring to wash my hand. At the end, I lost the ring. Luckily the ring was not very expensive. When we were filming “Moonlight Resonance” that time, Louise Lee borrowed me a ring. I forgot about it and put it in one of the pocket of my clothes. I couldn’t find it afterwards. I was very frightened and cried after that. Louise Lee was calmer than me instead. She even smiled and told me that it didn’t matter and I could just pay back to her.”

Yesterday, Tavia Yeung spotted and fancied a 6 carat diamond ring. When asked if her future boyfriend needs to give a 6 carat ring for marriage proposal, she laughed and said, “So little, should be at least 100 carat!”

The evilness of Tavia Yeung has its retribution

Beyond The Realm Of Conscience’s last episode was aired last night. All the casts wore series costumes and watched the finale episode with audiences. Amongst them was Wai Ying Hung who just won Best Supporting Actress in Golden Horse Awards and she brought along her trophy with her. Charmaine Sheh and Tavia Yeung who are the hot favourite for Best Actress award hoped to gain some prosperous luck from her. Tavia Yeung even expressed that she received her “retribution” due to her evilness in the series!

Yesterday, all the casts attended [Beyond] promotional event. Although not much of high management presented on that night, however there were a lot of audiences to cheer for them. Charmaine Sheh and Tavia Yeung expressed that they hope that the ratings will pass 50 points and beat Korea series, Jewel In The Palace. When asked producer Mui Siu Ching whether she will film the sequel of the series, she said, “Princess Marriage” is the sequel. It is the comedy version of [Beyond] and most of the casts are from [Beyond].” However, Kevin Cheng and Tavia Yeung are not included amongst the casts.

Cannot eat and sleep well

Tavia Yeung who was very evil in the series expressed that she has received her retribution. She said, “I was chased by the paparazzi until to the garbage store and left with four sides of wall. After this series finishes airing, I want to become a good person again. Yiu Kam Ling did too many evil deeds. But the retributions happened to my real life. I always chased by the paparazzi and I cannot eat and sleep well and this leads to nervousness. I never chased by so many guys before!” Tavia Yeung said that due to clashes on her schedule in another series, she does not have chance to take part in “Princess Marriage”. However, she felt that there will be even more fresh feelings if there are new casts.

Pull votes for Kevin Cheng and Moses Chan

Wai Ying Hung brought along her Golden Horse trophy to share her joy with the casts. Tavia Yeung laughed and said, “I grasp it with both of my hands! I also want to see how the trophy looks like.” Charmaine also laughed and said, “Of course we must touch it so that we can gain the prosperous luck from it.” Other than that, Charmaine Sheh and Tavia Yeung not only pulled votes for Best Actress award from the audiences yesterday, but they also pulled votes for Kevin Cheng, Moses Chan and the series too.

Tavia Yeung wore one million Sapphire diamond set as TV queen

Tavia Yeung, Kevin Cheng, Yoyo Chen, Grace Wong and Sire Ma attended "Prince Jewelry Watches Jubilee Community Charity" the other night. Pansy Ho, Cindy Yeung and Lam Kin Hong also attended the event to show their support. Leon Lai accepted a cheque for one million HKD on behalf of Community Chess, but he did not stay long. He left immediately after the presentation ceremony. 

The stars who were on the catwalk got to chose their own jewelries and matching watches. Tavia was wearing a Sapphire diamond set worth 1.2 million HKD. She told reporters that there were so many choices to chose from the back stage and she was quite confused. Tavia disclosed that she would be visiting the jewelry later on to chose her jewelries, and she believes there won't be any upper price limit to her choice of jewelries. Tavia expressed "I don't care, I am not choosing it for myself, concubine Lai had a tragic ending, I just want to cheer myself up." Tavia also revealed that Charmaine, Kevin and her were planning to have a feast to celebrate the success of "Beyond". 

Tavia was wearing a deep V bare back evening dress that night, she told reporter "Everybody is talking about TV queen these days, I take it very lightly. It doesn't matter if I don't get the award, at least you can see my back. The most important thing is I have jewelries to show off "

Tavia Yeung couldn't refrain from eating too much and gained weight in Hokkaido

Recently, Chilam Cheung, Tavia Yeung, Myolie Wu and Michael Tse went to Hokkaido, Japan together to film TVB new series, The Morning of Flying Fish in Hanami (temporary title). Tavia Yeung who visited Hokkaido for the first time took her time to work and play at the same time. She grabbed the chance to go for sight-seeing around the place and praised the beautiful scenery there. Furthermore, the citizens there have politeness and well manners. “The scenery in Hokkaido is so beautiful and I felt relaxed and carefree over there. Moreover, the place is neat and clean. The citizens are very polite. It gave me very good feelings!” However, the one which was unforgettable was the culinary delicacy. “Their seafood and fruits are very fresh. I could really eat non-stop at there! (Gained weight?) It seems like I’ve gained some weight. But never mind. I believe that I can slim down after I go back to continue my work in Hong Kong!”

Tavia Yeung hopes for tolerance from attacking netizens

Yesterday Tavia Yeung became a judge for a Christmas event. Regarding the netizen’s anger that she won [Most Favourite Female Character] and [Best Performance] awards, there were netizens that criticized that TVB wants to promote Tavia Yeung and willing to sacrifice Charmaine Sheh. Tavia Yeung said, “Company promotes a lot of artistes. Actually it is Charmaine Sheh that promotes me because she voted for me. I really want to thank her for her supports. Actually I feel that she did very well.”

Know that she is not perfect enough

Tavia Yeung does not mind about being attacked by netizens as not deserving winner. She said, “I will not mind about it. I know that I’m not perfect enough. I hope that I will gain tolerance from everyone. Everyone has freedom of speech. This is just conversation during break. This means that our awards ceremony has discussion quality.” She is happy that she has chance to accept many outside jobs. She admitted that her earnings have increased but she is not sure on the amount of increment. She laughed and said, “I’m still worth to use!”

Chris Lai appears to protect Tavia Yeung

Although Tavia Yeung was attacked by netizens, luckily she is supported by Best Actor and Best Actress, Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang. Even rumoured boyfriend, Chris Lai does not avoid and comes out to protect Tavia. Recently, there were rumours that Chris Lai and Tavia Yeung are currently dating and they appeared close with each other. Chris Lai expressed that she knew Tavia for 5 years and both of them are close friends. When asked about the chances for relationship development, he said that he has chances for relationship development with every girl. He seemed like avoiding when discussing about rumours but when mentioned about the attacks on Tavia by netizens, he quickly supports Tavia and said that Tavia’s performance in this year was obviously good. Her performance was stable and if she didn’t receive the awards, who is the one can replace her?

Michelle Yim praised her great level of acting skills

Best Actor, Wayne Lai also supports Tavia Yeung. Wayne Lai expressed that awards are encouragement for artistes. He also witnessed how Tavia Yeung works hard and put her efforts in her work all these while. Therefore, she ought to be given a chance to grow up. Meanwhile, Michelle Yim collaborated with Tavia in [Beyond]. She expressed that it is suitable and appropriate for Tavia to receive awards. Gaining recognition from audiences is most important for an artiste. Tavia won the awards means that she has the great level of acting skills. Michelle disclosed that she will attend an awards ceremony in Guangzhou in the middle of December. She is nominated again for Best Actress based on her role in Moonlight Resonance. She laughed and said that she is not sure of her chance of winning but she has already put all her efforts inside.

Tavia Yeung said she's the bad one voting for herself

At the "TVB Anniversary Awards 2009" Tavia Yeung brought home 2 awards, initially this was suppose to be a happy moment, unfortunately Netizens questioned how she got both awards.

After winning the award, Tavia had only got 6-7 hours of sleep. Last night, she only had 3-4 hours, so she had black circles. However, yesterday she still attended the public event, she smiled: "My eyes open when I see money. (More work after winning award?) I have jobs at the end of the year, so I have not stopped earning fast money. (Wayne Lai hopes to increase his pay by 30%?) I do hope to have a small increase as well, get the good luck. However, I do not manage the money, my manager takes care of that for me." 

Lately after she won the award, she has been attacked by Netizens, asked if she was affected by this? She smiled: "Luckily I am only worried about my current issues, whatever happens online, I have to count on my mom and reporters to tell me about it." 

Votes for herself 

As to TVB sacrificing Charmaine? Tavia said: "This is normal to the aftermath of award presentations. Actually, the truth is Charmaine was by my side holding onto me. She had already won this award before, so she actually really wanted me to get it this time, she even voted for me too. But I am the bad one, I voted for myself, if there was another award, I would vote for her, but there is only one so I of course voted myself." 

Tavia said that deep down, she feels that Charmaine has done very well, if they could all win awards together, then that would be great. She said: "Actually, I have to share half of this award with Charmaine because she ran up on stage for me and the first thing she did was she gave me a kiss. Also I represented "Beyond" to get this award, it's hard to get everyone to like both "Beyond" and Gum Ling, so I have an explanation for myself." 

Next time make up the kiss 

Also, Charmaine complained to everyone that she was going to kiss Tavia on the lip, but Tavia turned her face and was only able to kiss her cheek. Tavia explained that it's not because she didn't want to kiss Charmaine on the lip, but she wasn't prepared and plus she was too nervous at the time. She said: "I never thought the award would be presented that fast, I felt like crying and forgot everything. Next time I'll make up the kiss back!
